I'm in #Taiwan to significantly improve my Mandarin but I've both selected a basic introduction to #Taiwanese (indigenous language) class for the coming semester as well as fallen ever more into #Sanskrit grammar that I've never academically studied under a professional teacher this far but checking sources has so far been incredibly fun while deriving inspiration for my #worldbuilding for a later book in my series (the air themed book will take place in a #Himalaya inspired region)
Although I'm still not over having written "sideral" instead of "lateral" as the terminus technicus contrasting with "supernal" & "infernal" in my notes when discussing the make-up of one "world" (the correct Sanskrit here would be IAST aṇḍa i.e. "egg") from the worldview for that book.
Though I'm still not sure how I should deal with the dvīpas & samudras, I'm very excited to see what I'll come up with for dealing with the IAST lokāloka i.e. "world-no-world" mountain range at the world's end.
