@SimonCHulse It was on the coast of Lake Superior, so technically not.
@SimonCHulse Yes, there's an argument to be made that Lake Superior is really an inland sea. Whereas the Caspian Sea is a lake, and the Dead Sea is also a lake even though it's salt water. It seems to be like the distinction between "ship" and "boat", there's no hard and fast rule for when one becomes the other. (Which is another thing I've pondered while watching the huge boats on Lake Superior.)
