Perhaps I am just old (likely) but it seems like mainstream American country and western music peaked in the 1990's.

There are a few standouts these days but most of it is just pop music with a twang or borderline racist/misogynist lyrics.

I miss the old days when the biggest issues were having too much to drink or watching a loved one leave. 😢

I finally got a chance to sit down without the kids and watch The Northman today.

The scenery is astounding. It's just a beautiful movie to watch. However, be prepared for some gruesome scenes. The whole movie just has an intensity that doesn't let up.
