#Journal of a slightly anxious Dutch Pixy (Tuesday, 25/03/2025).
@tldr please do your thing for me here!
I woke about half an hour before the alarm. I got up, and the scale was a wee bit kinder to me. Ow, nice... I got dressed, took my meds, prepped Arwen's food and let her out for a wee. She was happily eating when I got my bag and headed to Skoosh.
Caught up with social media while I was enjoying my protein shake (and while waiting for the meds to kick in). I got to the seated bike and rode for a bit. After 25 minutes I had to stop. When my leg was a bit better, I walked a short bit on the treadmill, just half a KM, but with a slight incline. I enjoyed a massage on the chair and then I headed back home again.
Washed up, had brekky, and got ready for walkies with Arwen. We had a nice walk and Arwen even rewarded me with a nice selfie. When we got back home, I changed clothes and headed to the hometrainer. I rode for half an hour. I finished my journal blog post and I started a new (to me) TV series on Netflix.
I watched "Totenfrau" a while and I fixed some food. Then Arwen wanted walkies again so we headed out again. When we got back, I changed clothes and walked half an hour on my treadmill. After that, I got the hoover and did the downstairs area. Then I got the mop out and I did the easy to reach bits with it. I was exhausted when I was done. But... I had done it! Yay me!
I washed up, changed clothes, and then I tried to relax on the couch a bit. Arwen was annoying me for quite a while that she wanted out. But it was too early and I just needed a wee bit of rest before we'd be heading out again.
We had a nice walk and Arwen was lucky to see N&B again, as she scored some extra nomnoms. When we got back, I relaxed on the couch. I watched another series on Netflix, Stay Close, and I really liked it. So when that's done, I should get back to Totenfrau.
I fixed some food and then Arwen wanted walkies again. After which I got back to the couch as I felt so tired. Just when I was getting ready to head out with Arwen, I just texted N, my phone rang with an unknown number. I hesitantly answered, as I wasn't expecting the hospital for another 90 minutes. But it was the surgeon! There was no infection, we could schedule the surgery, the waiting in list was about 2 months... Ah ok... Anxiety over the call went, anxiety over the surgery began!
We had a good walk with N&B. Then some relaxing until it was time for a last wee for Arwen. I was so tired... Went to bed and it didn't take too long to fall asleep. I got my eBook and didn't even get to read from it! I was exhausted...
Woke once for the loo and then again, half an hour before the alarm. So I got up and started my new day...
@PixysJourney So glad there's no infection! Two months seems long, but it is better than dealing with an infection first.

@ldmay65
Thank you, I'm very glad too. Yeah two months isn't too bad. Just wish I knew a date so I could start arrangements for the bed and the help I'll need after it.
