@georgetakei FWIW, based solely on USPS sources, 40% of letter carriers were female in 2007 (presumably higher now), and overall the USPS workforce as of 2023 was 45% female. Not perfect I suppose, but esp when one also considers the racial diversity among their workforce, they seem to be doing pretty well. Full disclosure: our letter carrier is a woman, and she's awesome.
