Richard the Third?
@georgetakei
In the UK, a Richard,("Richard the Third" )used to be rhyming slang for a Third Class Degree.
@georgetakei #Alt4You: Photo of Richard III Camping Goods store. A message in one of the storefront windows states, "Now is the winter of our DISCOUNT TENTS".
@georgetakei Their sales camp pain got really in tents.
Pun spoiler
In case anyone else was wondering for too long what the pun is:
The play "Richard Ⅲ" by Shakespeare opens with the words "Now is the winter of our discontent …"
You mean the guy that fell head over heels over his steed?
The king, dumb for a horse???
Don't tell me. Donner Party Catering Supplies is right next door, with its winter clearance sale. Everyone must go, by spring.
@georgetakei Now is the winter of our discount tents is a pretty common one --- Red Green (for instance) had a recurring segment with that title 20 years ago...
@georgetakei That's an old Red Green joke...
