@georgetakei How expensive are the campaigns of Democrats? How much of that comes from corporate donors and lobbying? And what is the definition of corruption? They're just as culpable as the Republicans, and only slightly less evasive about it.
@georgetakei Can the party not remove any bad apples, assuming corruption is proven? These people aren’t likely to admit culpability, even after the fact.

@georgetakei @lisamelton Though being that our democracy is held in the balance on the back of one corrupt SOB, is modeling purity to monsters who don’t care about right or wrong the best decision? Who knows. Glad I don’t have to make these calls and can wait for some Batman movie down the line to clarify for me.
