There is a reason the 14th Amendment prohibits violent insurrectionists from running on the ballot. Because anything that doesn't result in disqualification is a valid election strategy.
@LadyDragonfly Indeed, and it's not even enough. Things like scapegoating historically targeted minorities also need to be disqualifying.
@LadyDragonfly The smart way to do this (develop a democracy preserving constitution) would be to study all the methods dictators have used to come to power, and make any activity similar to any if them, each individually enumerated and described in unambiguous terms, disqualifying for the ballot at all levels of government.
