tfw u propose a criminal conspiracy to the lead prosecutor at one of america's most pre-eminent law enforcement agencies () and then attempt to seize the evidence literally from the hands of that same prosecutor so you can burn it later and then she (the prosecutor) puts that information in a footnote that she releases to the public

@cryptadamist The words "admonished" and "directed" are doing a lot of work here.
If it were me, and someone demanded my notes, I would tell them to fuck off.
Were they threatening this person with arrest ? Physical violence ? Who specifically threatened that violence ? Bove ? Some members of the Secret Service ? Who ?

@jab01701mid yeah i'm surprised that they agreed to turn over the notes, but i suspect there's a lot more to the story behind that footnote that we will learn in due time.

as someone who had the pleasure of observing in action live and and in person during the / trial i can attest to the fact that she is an *incredibly* effective communicator. read any of the press about the trial and you will see everyone who watched it observed this to be true. "holy shit that DA Sassoon is fucking crushing this" was like 70% of all discussion during breaks in the trial over in the journalists' section.

Steve Vladeck put up a piece tonight on this and more about what has happened entitled "124. The Thursday Night Massacre(s)".

It's quite a (disturbing) read...

@cryptadamist Next time, take notes on a device that saves copies of the notes in real time elsewhere.
