A lot of their readers just don't seem to understand what fascism is all about, likely expecting brown shirts and parades, so feudalism is just another way of telling 'em in the hope to evoke any associations with dark ages. Most of the folks using it are probably well aware of the pitfalls, so I just take it for what it is:
