What happened to M&M Food Market?
They used to be delicious, with great dishes but now their portions are TINY and their prices are ridiculous.
Bought this frozen mac and cheese on a whim and was incredibly disappointed with how small the portion is. It hardly fills a bowl.
M&M Food Market was acquired by Parkland Corporation in 2022. After time to complete paperwork, merge management, and do some company analysis, now would be about the perfect time for changes introduced by new management to be in full swing and reaching the buying public. #Enshittification at work.
They're not a VC firm, but they are a giant conglomerate with fingers in lots of retail areas, so not much better.
I don't know why the universe has a "we can't ~have~ keep nice things" law, but it appears to. I have a whole list of Canadian retailers I used to really like, but who have changed much for the worse...
