New salad greens seedlings are starting to come up. I had to throw out my whole last batch. The coir substrate I used was infested with fungus gnats and maybe something else too. Even hydrogen peroxide didn't help. It kept spreading to each new container I started, so I started over from scratch. I've been growing greens in my kitchen all through the winter the past few years so we have fresh salads.
