Traces of Texas

Traces of Texas reader Randell Tarin kindly sent in this nifty photo of his father, John Henry Tarin, selling Fritos, “The New Mexican Crispie,” on the streets of San Antonio for 5¢ a bag in 1935. He was about 13 or 14 years old here. Fritos made their debut in 1932, so this was just after Fritos became available. HOW GREAT IS THIS?
