Traces of Texas reader James Reed Baker kindly sent in this wonderful photo of his grandfather, A.W. Baker (left) and another man in front of the Little Dogie Saloon. A.W. was a dairyman in Houston, but James isn't sure exactly where the Little Dogie Saloon was located. I googled everything I could think of to figure out where it was because it seems like a piece of information that I should know, but couldn't find it. No matter: it's a great shot in any case.
