Resurrect very old printers. I'm talking dot matrix impact printers with big wide parallel ports. It can be done. Those will not have those yellow dots.

@SrRochardBunson @hellomiakoda they do not have the dots, but (same as typewriters, daisywheel/golfball printers etc) do still have a unique "signature" due to variations in print tolerances.

However tracking/identifying them (which was a thing in the 20th century) still requires much more work than scanning the yellow dots with embedded serial numbers..
