The MAGAs will absolutely want to own the narrative and define patriotrism in America.</p><p>Our Job: Don't let them.</p><p>Don't let them define American Values and American Ideals.</p><p>As part of this, I want to throw out a challenge to all the musicians of America:</p><p>The poem on the Statue of Liberty, is called "The New Colossus". It has long been a statement of American values and patriotism.</p><p>It is the poem with those famous words, "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free."</p><p>It is Public Domain, because it is so old. Nobody owns it.
