Aurora from southern New Mexico at latitude 33N.

This was *not* visible to naked eye.

Wide angle lens, fixed tripod, 30 second exposure, ISO 800, f/1.4. Contrast and color saturation boosted somewhat.

The lower part of the sky has a reddish hue, but it's a diffuse glow with no structure. Some clouds are visible as horizontal streaks, colored brown/yellow because they are illuminated by city lights.
