Headed to the #LEGO Store after work to check out the Pick-A-Brick wall and a good selection.
Still amazed how much a large PAB box can hold when carefully packing the box as efficient as possible.
@KWHCoaster I can't wait until the next time I'm back in NYC, maybe over the summer so I can go back to the Lego store and revisit the pick a brick wall. The only time I've been there I chose the cup, and I remember choosing as many 1x2 and 2x2 bricks as possible because at this time I preferred to free-build, accessible instructions for the blind I didn't know about yet .
Today I do, and today of course I build sets and so now I will be picking a lot of other brick variants I need more jumper plates and probably tiles in general, too.
Also, I hope to visit the body bucket, I don't think that's its official name but that container that holds all of the minifig/ mini doll parts to make your own figure.
@morganlynn1992 If that is the flagship LEGO Store in NYC, must have a huge PAB wall! The new boxes are much better for stacking than the cups.
When the Toronto LEGO Store in the Yorkdale Mall relocated within the mall, they downsized the PAB wall to about 1/4-1/3 of what it was and placed it out with the shoppers. And, no counter for stacking/packing. I have to do it on their display cases. Dumb move. I'm hoping the Fairview Mall LEGO Store across town doesn't do the same thing.
