I can't remember hearing a storm like this one before. Normally you get the wind howling and the banshee shriek of the higher gusts, but with this one there is a constant sound up high, like you hear when a jet plane is passing overhead. It's really eerie.
@CazimodoCreative I know the sound you mean, I keep checking flight radar, but no planes. The droning sound is scary.

@CazimodoCreative The style of my house as well means I basically have a wind tunnel under my living room, I'm thinking about taking refuge in the bedroom, the creaks are getting scary.
@JustFi I'd definitely take shelter in the quietest room. Half of the anxiety of a storm is around the sound I find personally.
