@psychictides @ryanhoulihan are you saying Israelites are settlers/colonists? My understanding is that Jews are indigenous people of the land too, which doesn't make killing a lot of people right, but certainly isn't the same storyline of colonialism.

@psychictides @ryanhoulihan while I am picking up some strong mockery in your response, I genuinely ask questions to be better able to understand conflicting viewpoints. The reading I have done generally points to this being a much more complex narrative. Here is one example of an article referencing the complexity. thecrimson.com/article/2017/8/. If you have an opposing set of evidence that says Jews were never a people belonging to the region, please post sources instead of clown pictures. I respect ideas outside of my own, and this narrative is one I am deeply trying to understand better.
