Andre Louis

E20: Synaesthesia youtu.be/gXaB9zsvhwE

In this episode we discuss the fascinating topic of Synaesthesia.

Andre's version of Synaesthesia involves being able to feel certain days of the week, and also some numbers.
Listen as we delve into this, and also some comments from a Mastodon thread Andre created to discover just how many others he might know that have it too.

It never came up in conversation, but after yesterday's episode on , found out that both the kids have it too, and just assumed it was normal. I think this is more common than people assume. Means my wife is the odd one out, as she doesn't have it at all.

@FreakyFwoof you also have, tinkers. For example, he tinkers with a car.

Is this impolite?

@rlegowski1 Indeed. Hope you found the episode interesting. Is that your first time listening?

Is this impolite?

@FreakyFwoof Yes it is. And, yes, indeed, I found it totally fascinating! Mind if I put a little something together with more detail about some other synaesthetic stuffage I've got?

Excellent episode Kirsten and Andre. It was very interesting hearing the different ways folks experience synaesthesia.

@FreakyFwoof @roytoo thanks so much, it’s really kind of you. Have a listen to next week too as we have a little more to say about it

@FreakyFwoof I had no idea it was a thing anyone else experienced until I heard Radio 2's drive time presenter reading out a letter about it. It must have been in 2001 long after I lost mine.
