How-to: Use Logic's Built In Net Send and Net Receive Plugins https://youtu.be/837ApDYyH3A #Logic #LogicPro #DAW #MacOS
@FreakyFwoof I just uploaded to accessmtech.com directly linked your Youtube video.
@chikim Aah cool, thanks.
@FreakyFwoof Well, thank you! lol By the way, I just bought Garitan CFX. Let's see how painful it is to get it going. lol
@FreakyFwoof Finished with Garritan CFX. Authorization part needs some VOCR Mouse gymnastics to drag a license file to interface, but loading preset part is accessible. I need to get someone to map NKS. It sounds great with just presets though. Very satisfied! Instead of paying full $199, bought lite for $59 and upgrade for $79 from Sweetwater.
@chikim Interesting. What are they using, SFZ?
@FreakyFwoof Not sure, I think aria uses sfz, but it has copyright protection. Sample files have extension .audio.
@FreakyFwoof Also, it loads less than 5 seconds. Maybe it loads stuff in the background, but you can play right away within 5 seconds. I didn't notice any dropouts and stuff. Not sure why Justin setup took minutes to load.
@chikim Haha I've no idea at all.
@FreakyFwoof It lives up to the hype though. I can see why so many people mention it like Ravenscroft 275 and Keyscape.
@chikim How big is the thing?
@FreakyFwoof Download is 15gb, but expands to 132GB. I loaded player preset, and reaper uses about 1.5GB memory.
@FreakyFwoof Oh shame. Controls are visible in CFX plugin, but presets browser are not accessible. However, Aria engin is opposit. You can load preset, but can't modify. Ugg
@FreakyFwoof Oh Good news. Cfx plugin has preset button you can click with vocr, and it pops up a menu that you can navigate normally.
@chikim That makes sense, I believe Sforzando is the same.
@FreakyFwoof Oh yea I forgot about that they're the same company. Other than having to load a preset with mouse click, it seems pretty usable. I wonder why this thing is so big when it uses like less than 2gb. Maybe it loads more samples as you play more notes with different velocities.
