You all know that I love cats, but what you might not know is that I live in the U.S. state of Vermont where we have been hit by devastating floods this week. I and my family are all totally fine but thousands of others were not so lucky. If you can, please consider donating to the Vermont Disaster Animal Response Team (VDART). They are providing cat/dog food, housing, transportation coordination, and other services to help animals in some of our hardest hit areas.

You can also follow the Kitty Korner Cafe, a cafe/adoption center in Barre, VT, which had to chop a hole in their floor to divert water into the basement to save their cats. Everyone is safe, but they are struggling with damages and helping to find fosters for all the lost kitties turning up in the surrounding areas. https://www.facebook.com/kittykornercafe/
