Although Mastodon doesn't make it easy to find new contacts, and is pretty quiet without a lot of contacts, the civility is a joy.
I still visit the Sick Bird to encourage the decent people I've encountered there to migrate here. And I ask advertisers whether their ads were prepaid or meant to endorse fascism. But the rudeness is aggravating, and I'll be happy to see it collapse (see link).
